Description jonas@thiem.email 2017-02-18 16:52:04 UTC
Sometimes the clipboard of legacy Xorg apps and the gnome-shell / GNOME 3 Wayland compositor desyncs. This means I can copy in XWayland apps and paste just fine, but if I paste in a wayland-native app I get _different_ clipboard contents, and copying in Wayland apps will just paste that properly in Wayland apps and vice versa.

Since my password manager keepass becomes pretty unusable when this bug hits, it would be nice if this could be fixed.

This is probably a problem with the Xwayland clipboard integration code in the compositor you are using, and nothing to do with Xwayland itself.

Ok. I just filed a bug report with GNOME 3 here to see what their response is: https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=778979
