Created attachment 129910 [details] dmesg without nomodeset Hello, I have a Lenovo Miix 2-8 and I'm trying to install arch linux on it. It is a windows-tablet with a 32-bit UEFI and Intel Baytrail Processor and Integrated Graphics inside. I successfully installed arch linux and grub and am able to boot into the system, but only with the kernel option "nomodeset" set. Otherwise the boot process is also successful, but at some point the screen turns black. I still am able to type in everything etc and it works - just the display is black. I have been trying to install linux on this tablet for 2 years now and this -> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=97330 gave me new hopes to get accelerated graphics working. It still does not work for me, but the symptoms are slightly different after the update: the screen does not flicker anymore, but turns black anyway as before. Attached you find my dmesg without nomodeset. If you need further information, just ask.
Please add drm.debug=14 module parameter, and attach dmesg again.

(In reply to Joseph Thommes from comment #0) > Hello Joseph, Sorry for the delay, is these bug still valid? Is the problem still present? Thank you.
Hello Joseph, I'm closing this bug as no new information have been reported since February, assuming that the problem is no more present in newer kernel versions or that you're no using the HW anymore. If the problem still exits please REOPEN this case. Thank you.
