Description brodskie 2007-02-16 13:20:38 UTC
This is Suse linux 10.2 on a Dell Inspiron 5150 notebook with a 64MB nvidia Geforce Fx5200Go graphics card

when using the "nv" driver, playing 2 videos with xvideo enabled in each window causes an instant lockup. This crash happens in mplayer, xine, and vlc, and does not occur with the proprietary driver. I have tested the libXv.so.1.0.0 with Xorg 7.0, 7.1, and 7.2, they all crash.

Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.

xf86-video-nv has been officially unmaintained for a bit now, and we are closing all -nv bugs. If your problem was not addressed, and -nv is still broken, please try xf86-video-nouveau. Thank you.
