I am aware that we just closed BUG 102295. 
However, I create a new one to not confuse ourselved with data from before BUG 102295.

ALso, this appear to be quite rare. I just happened to stumble onto it since the issue is covered by other bugs on KBL-shards.

yes. The reason why I want to separate these bugs on platforms, is that the LSPCON HW could be different and we usually need to cooperate with the LSPCON vendors in order to solve these type of bugs.

After upgrading to 1.72, we started having this messages on our KBL, before those only appearing in SKL (bug 104269)

Thanks for the updates, just to confirm the binary, I have attached LSPCON FW Version 1.70 with this BZ. Can you please try flashing this ? 

As such, there is no change (of our interest) between 1.72 and 1.70, and I got this FW from MCA directly, so this should give us proper status.

Hello again, after downgrading to 1.70 last week we haven't met the error again, we'll be monitoring for the message in the next FF cycles.

Have sent a mail to MCA with steps to reproduce DPCD write failure at 0x5c0. Waiting for their reply. Will update further if some fw update is required/kernel change.

Bug assessment: the following bugs are all related: bug 103313, bug 105602, bug 108833 and bug 108131 (with the same "LSPCON mode hasn't settled" error message). 

This bug continues to happen frequently, 2% repro rate (despite FW updates). If we are ignoring the bug should we decrease the priority so we don't have to assess it often? Copying Shashank/Swati.
