Xorg.log and xrandr --verbose
I can report the same behaviour, have the same mobo MSI G45M Digital. VGA works well, but for the DVI port driver reports "Output DVI1 disconnected". I even tried out the latest driver from git repository without any luck. Monitor supports DDC. Windows driver works with DVI. Any help will be very appreciated. Xorg.0.log is attached. Thanks. Xorg.0.log
Note Achim is using UMS and the DVI is detected as HDMI-1 (disconnected), and Izci is using KMS and the DVI is detected as DVI1 (disconnected). The root cause is that HDMI is not detected correctly. please try the patch http://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=26663 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 21322 *** |
