Running dmesg displayed a message to create a bug report here, so I did :) I've attached the output of dmesg and the content of /sys/class/drm/card0/error .

Hello J, Could you please share your mesa version? Is this reproducible? If reproducible, is there any step to reproduce? Do this only happen with KDE and Openbox? Thank you.
Hello Elizabeth, thanks for the update! I can't reproduce this. It happened only that one time, I think. I'm not sure about the version of mesa which was installed at that time. I think that it was 17.1.x, but I'm not sure (I'm using Arch Linux which has rolling updates). If that information doesn't help to work on this, then I guess it's best to close this issue.

Hello Elizabeth, I'm a bit confused because the issue you mentioned is mine also and I havn't found a way to reproduce. Anyways, I think this issue can be closed because my system is stable again after updating to Mesa 17.3.6. Thanks for your work on this!
