Thanks for your time Torsten, please follow issue at bug 103934.

Marking as duplicated since ecode is the same and batch points same last executed:

0xfff727e8:      0x79000002: 3DSTATE_DRAWING_RECTANGLE
0xfff727ec:      0x00000000:    top left: 0,0
0xfff727f0:      0x00000000:    bottom right: 0,0
0xfff727f4:      0x00000000:    origin: 0,0

Unduplicate otherwise. Thank you.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 103934 ***

Reopening. This is not a duplicate - this report is about the Chrome browser and the other is about the X server.

Hello again Torsten, could you share what distro and Mesa version are you using. Also is there a easy way to reproduce this??
Comment 4 Torsten_DO 2017-12-07 16:50:38 UTC
Hello Elisabeth, sorry for my delay, but I was on business trips this week.

I'm running  cat /etc/lsb-release
DISTRIB_ID=LinuxMint
DISTRIB_RELEASE=18.2
DISTRIB_CODENAME=sonya
DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Linux Mint 18.2 Sonya"
#DISTRIB_ID=Ubuntu
#DISTRIB_RELEASE=16.04
#DISTRIB_CODENAME=xenial
#DISTRIB_DESCRIPTION="Ubuntu 16.04 LTS"

with glxinfo | grep "OpenGL version"
OpenGL version string: 3.0 Mesa 17.0.7

Reproducing is easy going and the failure is "reliable" ;-)

Start Laserweb4 (an open source laser machine controller) after installation or start from an AppImage http://laserweb-release.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com/ the result is in dmsg -> https://pastebin.com/aw8qsTN2

Thanks for the information Torsten, could you please try to reproduce with new 17.3 Mesa release. Meanwhile, I'll try to reproduce it on a BDW in the next days.
Comment 6 Torsten_DO 2017-12-12 22:14:47 UTC
Before I was able to check the 17.3 Mesa there was the 17.4 available. I checked it right now and yes, it's working without any error in the logs and most important the graphics from the tool laserweb are visible.
Great success!

Thank you all for your efforts and engagements!
