Currently (version: 1:0.7.8-0ubuntu4), the various compiz plugins feel like a bunch of disconnected plugins; each plugin does something on its own without any though paid to what happens when the plugin is not in use or what other plugins do.

This makes compiz much less pleasurable to use, and some of it decreases usefulness of some plugins [see depended Color Filter bug] or the efficiency by which it can be used [see depended Expo bug]. Some just look bad [see depended Scale bug].

While fixing these bugs would be great, plugins interacting well with other plugins and doing the right thing should be a part of compiz also for new plugins.

It's that little layer of polish :)

Bug trackers are not the best place for brainstorming for ideas. They should deal with specific issues. Please use a mailinglist for such posts, as the audience is bigger. Oh, and we're closing off this bug tracker, so if further bugs should go to bugs.opencompositing.org. Sorry for the inconvenience.
