Description J. Pablo Fernández 2008-12-10 11:15:47 UTC
Currently you can select more than one keyboard layout. And you can select some layout options, like third-level-chooser, etc, etc. It seems those options are not per keyboard layout, but only for the first keyboard layout (or all at the same time?). It would be nice to be able to have a set of layout options per keyboard.

Think about an option like adding eurosign to the letter e? that actually works only in Qwerty. So you may have adding eurosign for letter e in Qwerty and another one for doing the same in Dvorak. But then, if you have USA and USA Dvorak selected, you don't have any way to assign the corresponding eurosign to each layout.

If I am not clear, please, read bug #18142 (https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=18142)

Thank you.

moving to xkeyboard-config.

Peter, are you sure it is for xk-c? I guess it should be supported by xkbcomp syntax. Currently it is not.

Request support in setxkbmap/rules
