Description K 2005-02-02 16:21:37 UTC
Upon the installation of Fedora Core, xserver failed to start, leaving me in
text mode. It attempted to restart itself, but failed on every attempt. I have
a feeling it has to do with the Trident drivers that xorg uses.

could you attach your xorg.conf and Xorg log to this bug? Also what hardware
are you using and what version of xorg?
Comment 2 Mike A. Harris 2005-02-07 18:10:19 UTC
Yes, please attach your X server config file, and log file as individual
uncompressed file attachments. This information is critically important
to X.Org developers in order to be able to investigate the issue.

Thanks in advance.

That's easier said than done. I effectively have no real way to get it from
the Linux machine to my Windows machine without either screwing up the floppy
disk (seeing as I have no CD burner or network connection) or screwing up the
file format. I'll see what I can do....
