Description nanophase 2005-02-05 12:48:14 UTC
documentation for the "radeon" driver says:

"Virtual keyword defined on the Screen section of your XF86Config file"

however it is invalid in that section.
Metamodes does not do what the doc says, with "1280x800-1280x1024" I should be
use the laptop screen and my external TFT in their native resolutions but if I
set this, the external TFT won't displayt anything.

This is an error in your configuration (see my note on bug 2476). The "Virtual"
option goes in the "Display" SubSection of the Screen section. See the
xorg.conf man page for more information on setting up your config file.
MetaModes do do what the doc says, you just need to tweak your setup a bit ;)
