This is first time opening a bug.I am not sure if I am doing it the right way or not but want to give it a try. I am using a netvista PC model # 8305-R8U. video adapter: i810 (845G/GL) Display : P275 OS: suse (2.6.11-rc4-bk9-27-default) Everything got installed fine but couldn't start the X-Server. I get these errors when it starts to kick it off Skipping "usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libGLcor.a:m_debug_clip.o"" No symbols found Skipping "usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libGLcor.a:m_debug_norm.o"" No symbols found Skipping "usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libGLcor.a:m_debug_xform.o"" No symbols found (EE) I810(0): No Video BIOS modes for chosen depth. (EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration. Fatal server error: no screens found XIO: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server "0.0" after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining. I have tried it with different displays and I get the same error. I tried playing with /etc/X11/xorg.conf but didn't help. Anyone has suggestion, I would really appreciate. Thanks, sangram.

I couldnot start X server (graphical interface).it is likely that it is not set up correctly. at last it shows no screens found -- fatal server error. please reply me.
The old kdrive tree is dead. As far as we can tell, this bug no longer applies to the current Xorg server tree. If it does, please reopen this bug and change the product to 'xorg' and the component to 'server/general'.
