Description sangram alapati 2005-03-10 06:49:24 UTC
This is first time opening a bug.I am not sure if I am doing it the right way or
not but want to give it a try.

I am using a netvista PC model # 8305-R8U.
video adapter: i810 (845G/GL)
Display : P275
OS: suse (2.6.11-rc4-bk9-27-default)

Everything got installed fine but couldn't start the X-Server. I get these
errors when it starts to kick it off

Skipping "usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libGLcor.a:m_debug_clip.o"" No
symbols found
Skipping "usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libGLcor.a:m_debug_norm.o"" No
symbols found
Skipping "usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libGLcor.a:m_debug_xform.o"" No
symbols found
(EE) I810(0): No Video BIOS modes for chosen depth.
(EE) Screen(s) found, but none have a usable configuration.

Fatal server error:
no screens found

XIO: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server "0.0"
after 0 requests (0 known processed) with 0 events remaining.

I have tried it with different displays and I get the same error. I tried
playing with /etc/X11/xorg.conf but didn't help. Anyone has suggestion, I would
really appreciate.

Thanks,
sangram.
