Description Rainer Bielefeld Retired 2012-01-04 00:45:25 UTC
Since update to Bugzilla 4 I see a heavy increase of errors.

Gateway Time-out
The gateway did not receive a timely response from the upstream server or application.
Apache/2.2.16 (Debian) Server at bugs.freedesktop.org Port 443

Sometimes work with Bugzilla is more or less impossible, I get the error message for all actions: Search, Submit Coomment or new Report.

I doubt that it's related, my Browser is Seamonkey 2.5. Same effect with FF8

It seems we have some progress here since last weekend, I can't remember to have seen that again this week. But "Bug 41983 - "Software error" message instead of search results" is worse than ever

And still a problem. Some days without any problems, other days cost much time and work. Some reaction would be kind.

I'm going to move both the bugzilla DB and frontend to newer and faster machines which should hopefully help. I started doing this some time ago, but then got distracted. Hopefully it'll happen soonish.

I did not see this the since 2012-03-13, may be because of latest (VM?) rework. So I close this one WFM.
