poppler-0.5.4 will not compile where the fontconfig prefix is other than /usr
(in my case it is /usr/X11R6).

I will attach a patch which will deal with this.  The patch is for Makefile.am
in the utils and qt sub-directories.  A similar patch may be required for qt4 (I
do not know, I do not use qt4).
