If I start any application from my kde desktop (xmoto for example) in a full- screen mode, I can't press alt+tab combination and return to my desktop or to any other already started application window. I have to exit the full-screen game, make all the things I want on the desktop and then to restart the game. All this seem to be very annoying. As far as I know (I might be wrong), the full-screen app captures keyboard input and does not send the alt+tab to the window manager. But I do think each particular full-screen app should process alt+tab and recend it to wm - there should be some global solution suitable for all kind of applications (possibly it should be rather flexible and would not be bounded only by alt+tab combination) - without this my desktop with all its beauties and compiz features does not seem to be enough usable. Thank you
Sorry about the phenomenal bug spam, guys. Adding xorg-team@ to the QA contact so bugs don't get lost in future.
(In reply to comment #0) My alt+tab combination doesn't work at all now at any time since I last updated. If I switch back to last version (I don't remember the number, but the one in Debian etch) of xorg, it works properly again. Whatismore, now control+f4 doesn't close a tab in firefox, it changes to the 4th desktop. Problem get solved again with a previous version of X.org. Useful information: xorg 7.3+3, xserver-xorg-input-kbd 1.2.2-3. Debian sid, kernel 2.6.23.1, arch i386. Should I create a new bug id for this? Any other info needed?
AFAICT, original bug comment is a dupe of 4286. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 4286 ***
