Link layer test result.

Link layer compliance fails on WHL. Attaching the rest result.

Abhay - please reproduce the error using drm-tip (https://cgit.freedesktop.org/drm-tip) and kernel parameters drm.debug=0x1e log_buf_len=4M, and if the problem persists attach the full dmesg from boot.

My understanding is that this issue is being seen on a USB-C dongle, can you provide info on the adapter used?

Can you also provide info on the device being tested - is this a WHL RVP?

Hi James,

We cannot run this here as we don't have the setup. This is run in factory and kernel is almost latest 4.19. Looks like this is not been tested in linux since long.

need to check details. let me get back with details. but not sure they can run with DINQ.

Test report of WHL board

Test on an identical WHL board as reported originally resulted in 7 failures.

We believe the original test results reported here in "143063: Link layer test result." were caused by a bad test setup (DRM master was probably not released before test was started).

Since we know there are many hardware differences between the WHL board DUT and WHL RVP reference board we will next retest with drm-tip on the WHL DUT and depending on the results we will share further details.

Abhay, can we get the results from latest drmtip?

Have you verified with drmtip on WHL DUT? Any feedback?
